There is a mountain called “Mount Reizan” with an altitude of 765.8 meters, located about a 10-minute drive from ATAATA RESORT. The mountain trails are well-maintained, making it an easy climb even for small children. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the town of Iga from the summit.

Shirafuji Falls is located about a 10‑minute drive from Ataata Resort. This time, I visited the falls with a German family. The waterfall is powerful and the whole area has a very mystical atmosphere.

I visited Iga Ueno Castle with guests during the cherry blossom season. The cherry trees around the castle were in full bloom, and the petals were dancing in the air — it was truly breathtaking. Many people were enjoying a wonderful time while viewing the blossoms.
